There will be a theme randomly generated for the event, and each will get a unique prompt; and a with that, they will set out to write the best play of their lives… overnight.To be a director for a 24/7 play you have serious artistic chops, you have to trust your artistic intuition, and your artistic intuition has to be good. Our top notch directors have to do all that, and be all that… and they can… and they will. You, the audience, can sit back, have a drink, and watch it all come to life!

That’s our line our line up of 7 directors for 24/7 — on January, 27, 2024 at the Jefferson School African American Heritage Center — they are creative, smart, fast on their feet, experienced theatrical artists.  

They will each get a play that was just written overnight, the night before, randomly assigned and each director will set out to bring it to the stage. 7 new plays in all. All fully rehearsed... in less than a day.
